CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD Promo Art Reveals Full Look At Sam Wilson's Suit As Toys Highlight Red Hulk

Last year’s industry strikes have reshaped the release schedule, pushing back “Captain America: Brave New World” along with other major 2024 releases to next year.

Despite these delays, merchandise tied to the movie has gradually started to appear, although most product launches have been rescheduled to align with the revised premiere date of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” sequel.

Interestingly, nothing seems to disrupt McDonald’s Happy Meal timelines, as toys from “Captain America: Brave New World” have begun to surface in restaurants nationwide. These include a new glimpse at the Red Hulk and Diamondback, who is depicted in a costume true to her comic book origins, complete with her signature diamond-tipped weapons.

With rumors circulating that the Serpent Society might have been excluded from the film, this could be our only look at Diamondback.

A significant reveal comes in the form of new promotional artwork featuring Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson in his Captain America attire. While the outfit he donned in the finale of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” was well-received, it appears that Marvel Studios has opted to modify his suit to more closely resemble that of Steve Rogers.

Anthony Mackie recently discussed the thematic shift in “Brave New World,” describing it as “more of a grounded espionage action movie rather than dealing with aliens and aerial dogfights.” He emphasized the opportunity for Sam to truly step into his role as a definitive action star and Avenger within this film.

Mackie highlighted the intention behind the film, aiming for it to stand as an independent entity rather than a direct continuation of “Falcon and the Winter Soldier.”

Pending the outcome of this summer’s reshoots, the film will feature Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, Liv Tyler, and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins.

Directed by Julius Onah, with a script by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson — and additional scenes by Matthew Orton — “Captain America: Brave New World” is now set to premiere on February 14, 2025.
